There is not just one type of LCD TV wall brackets; there is an entire array of them. It is not because there are that many different types of TV’s, albeit that is part of the reason; the main reason is because there are many rooms shaped differently. Even if the living room is the same since some neighborhoods are of the cookie cutter type, people arrange their living rooms differently so therefore the angle and distance to the TV is not a perfect match. Furthermore, because the LCD TV comes in different sizes, some brackets needs to be stronger than others. The following list is some of the common brackets and their characteristics that are selling in the market now.

The BT-7510A surface mount for flat screen LCD can hoist up to 44 pounds. The mounting plate maintains 100mm and 75mm screw holes. The components are all metal. This package includes certain locking screw, which can prevent theft, and it allows the screen to fit up against the wall while it is only ¾ inch away from it. Every tool or item that is required to mount this bracket is inside the box.

There are some specialized companies that deal only in this market segment. They have set some standards. The interface pad fits some of these standards if it is 75mm or 100mm.

There is a bracket referred to in the industry as the cantilever tilt, which is combined with the wall mount that is articulated. These LCD TV wall brackets allow a screen to lie right up against the wall and then extent outward with the movable arm. This amazing arm allows the TV to be positioned away from the wall and spun around 180 degrees. The screen can also be transferred in a vertical up and down motion for the best view possible. Some of the key aspects of this mount are:

• It can sustain screens that weigh up to 35 pounds
• The mounting plate for 75mm and 100mm are included
• The parts are all metal to hinder any disassembling from bracket
• Everything in the box is needed for mounting and usage.
• The distance from the wall at the nearest interval is 3 ¾”
• At the greatest interval from the wall it is 17 ¾”
• Aesthetic and professional looking plastic shield covers all the wall screws
• Wall flat metal plate-180°; screen swivel-240°; LCD or TV screen adjustable up to 17° vertically up and down

Swivel bracket TV mounts are common accessories that are used when a television is mounted to a wall or from the ceiling, it can be turned in different positions to accommodate all viewers in the room. Waiting rooms, airports, hotels, and sports bars all use some type of mounted swivel brackets.

Typically found in screen sizes from thirty two to sixty inches, these TV mounts have a three hundred and sixty degree swivel with adjustable tilt for angled viewing. Other benefits of installing mounted swivel brackets for your TV include adjustable heights so every one has a clear view of the screen, fixed tilt glare reduction, and customized installation either inside or outside your home.

Depending on the model, load capacity for swivel bracket mounts range between ninety to one hundred and seventy five pounds. Heavy duty models may support as much as two hundred and fifty pounds.

Premium television mounts are constructed from cold rolled, heavy gauge steel in colors of silver or black. There are three kinds of television mounts, single stud, heavy duty, and concrete.

Single stud mounts have a single swing arm that extends up to twenty five inches with pivot and tilt adjustment. The heavy duty mount fastens directly to surface walls, it includes a safety strap and adherent side pads. Concrete TV mounts are made of heavy gauge steel and includes mounting hardware.

Wall or ceiling mounted brackets are the most commonly used, but there are also tabletop mounted swivel brackets, mounts for wide body television carts, and adjustable height swivel mounts for carts or tables.

Swivel brackets are sold in kits that include ceiling plate, an adapter plate, screen adapter, mounting hardware, and installation guide. If you are planning to upgrade your existing TV mount, there are online and local suppliers with accessories like anchors, ceiling plates, and extensions.

Trained installers will securely attach your television to the mounted bracket, keeping your investment safe from theft or accidents. Those who are comfortable with drills, tools, and construction may prefer to install the TV mount themselves. This should only be done if you have done the installation before, and if you are trained in wiring and electrical safety.

It is highly recommended that you hire professional installers to complete the job for you. The added benefit of knowing that your swivel bracket TV mount is properly secured is well worth the price of installation.

TVs are not the big bulky boxes they used to be, designed so that the only practical place you could put them was on a table. There were brackets that could be used to mount them by most people did not really bother back then unless circumstances called for it. Now that TVs have been designed to be flat, it is almost like they were meant to be mounted on the wall because, well that is just the right way to do it, just like mounting a painting. It just seems easier and neater and more accessible. The roles have been reversed so now getting flat panel TV wall mounts seems the norm, not the exception.

If you have a flat panel TV at home, the great advantage of getting it mounted on the wall is that it is much more accessible to everybody from a greater area of the relevant room. No taller siblings getting in the way and starting the ‘war at home’ that never seems to end and you having to play the eternal peacemaker for. These brackets are able to accommodate TVs that are anything from 13 inches to 56 inches and 45 to 130 pounds or more. In fact, the only weak link in the whole system is the strength of your wall and the height of your ceiling. Another interesting feature of some of the specialized brackets is that some of them have a swivel feature. Thus if you for example have an on suite kitchen, living room you can fix it that you can watch your TV from the kitchen or, after a quick swivel the living room and you didn’t have to do any heavy carrying.

Another great advantage of securely mounting an expensive item such as a 100 inch, high definition, LCD TV on the wall is the fact that it, god forbid this feature is ever needed, will make life much harder for a burglar. No longer will he or she need to just unplug, pick up and run; now the swine’s job becomes a lot harder and complicated. The more difficult we make their lives, the better.

These advantages are even more relevant in a night club, bar or store that wants to have the advantage of TV entertainment that is accessible to all their patrons from most or all areas of their establishment. If you are going to get the flat panel TV, then the only really practical and best way to mount it is with flat panel TV wall mounts. Some things just go together like chocolate and cake, beach and sea, wall mounts and a flat screen TV.

You have just purchased a new plasma television; you are excited to set it up in your home and begin your enhanced viewing experience, but are wondering how to display your new asset. Although there are multiple options for how to display plasma TVs, and incorporate them into the existing style and design of the home, consider mounting yours on a wall, for a chic and modern look that saves valuable space.

Plasma TV wall brackets are becoming an increasingly popular method of establishing a television within the home. Essentially fittings that are designed to fit to your television and attach firmly to an existing wall, they allow you to display your TV much in the same way that you might display a mounted painting or photograph.

There are multiple advantages to using wall mounts or brackets. In addition to creating a modern and unique feel in the TV room, they take up considerably less space than conventional TV stand or entertainment system set ups. With a wall mount, you will no longer have to concern yourself with how to clean around and behind your TV stand, and there will be no unsightly wires to conceal. In addition, if you live in a smaller space, where floor space is at a premium, a wall bracket will be entirely unobtrusive, allowing you more space for furnishings and other design features.

Are you concerned that plasma TV wall brackets will not allow you the flexibility that a conventional TV stand offers? Simply consider installing a bracket that is adjustable. There are multiple makes and varieties of wall mounts on today’s market. Some of the most versatile ones not only tilt up and down and from side to side, allowing you to customize your viewing experience, but they also fit multiple sizes of televisions. This means that if, at some point, you decide to upgrade or downsize, you could still effectively use the same wall bracket, and not worry about having to purchase and install an entirely new one.

Prices of wall brackets will vary, depending on a number of factors. Some of these factors include make and model, as well as size, and extra features, such as the tilting options that were discussed above. The location and time of your purchase may also affect the selling price. It is possible to find wall mounts ranging from as little as $30.00 USD, to as high as $200.00 USD.

In order to find the plasma TV wall mount that is right for you, consider doing some online research, to evaluate average prices for the style and model that you wish to purchase. On some websites, it is even possible to purchase used wall mounts at discounted prices.

If you have a new flat screen TV, you might be interested in a wall mount bracket for TVs. The brackets are available in several different sizes and styles depending on the type of television they need to hold. You can find brackets for mounting a TV on the wall in styles suited for a plasma or LCD screen TV or for an LCD TV alone. You can also find the brackets available in a stationary design or a swivel mount design. The brackets are generally available in colors of black, chrome or silver.

When you purchase the brackets, they come complete with the screws and hinges you need for installing them. You will want to make sure you attach them to a wood wall stud in your home, to prevent the unit from pulling out of the wall under the weight of the television. The style of bracket that is designed to tilt or swivel gives you the option of being able to adjust the upward or downward angle of the television. The angle can be as much as 30 to 35 degrees in variance.

You can also find brackets that allow you to swivel the set from side to side with a degree of variance around 50. The cost of the tilt and swivel combination bracket for a set that weighs around 30 to 60 pounds is $30. This is a nice type of bracket to have if your television is in a central location in your home such as a family room. The option of being able to adjust the set for optimum viewing is beneficial when you have a lot of people that are watching a movie or program on the TV.

When choosing a wall mount bracket for TVs you need to look at what the specifications are on the bracket package. The most important piece of information will be the amount of weight the bracket is designed to support. You might also find information about the type of bracket that would work best for your set in the information manual that came with your television. You will also want to make sure you have the proper tools for installing and that the bracket is attached securely to the wall before attempting to place the television set on it. A well chosen bracket that is attached securely will prevent the risk of having the set fall and become damaged.

It used to be that back in the day TVs were quite bulky, you absolutely had to buy a stand for them or you could just sit them on the floor. But, of course with time comes advancement in technology and now we have some really amazing TVs available to us that still come in “big” formats, but they now are much slimmer such as the flat screen plasmas or LCDs.

The one thing about these TVS is that you simply cannot buy just any TV stand for them, and frankly, I do not think you would want to! With the old TV stands you could only watch the TV from the prime seat in the front of the TV or sofa and if your favorite chair was off to the side or you had a few people over that were watching the TV, you had to practically crane your neck just to see the darn thing!

Well, now things have changed with swivel stands! You see these stands just about everywhere these days; bars, restaurants, even hospitals. These swivels come in two main options. You can either choose a stand with swivel brackets for TVs or you can buy just the swivel brackets designed for televisions that anchor into your wall – I have even see ones where you can anchor them into a fireplace!

The stands will include a main stand that goes up the back of the anchor (usually a floor drawer or stand anchor) and the brace will have the swivel “arms” right on the brackets. Then, you can choose how high or low you want the TV to be and all you have to do is set up the brackets on the back of the TV and either attach, hook, or screw it to the base swivel.

The point of the swivel is to allow you to “turn” the TV any way you want. This not only allows everyone to be happy when watching TV but it can also reduce glare if your TV does not have a glare free screen. You can have it straight ahead, left, right, etc. They usually move up 15 degrees and over 180 to 360 degrees depending on the swivel you get and the brand option.

These might look a little scary at first, after all, it is just “metal”, but I can absolutely assure you they are safe and they will hold your TV up. Each swivel bracket comes in different variations depending on your TV. So you can find a Z-line swivel bracket for 55inch TV or a Samsung 25 inch swivel bracket.

It is always suggested that you try to find a bracket that matches your TV brand, but I also find that this is not incredibly necessary because the brackets usually match the TV size and weight not necessarily the brand of the TV. Very easy to set up, just follow the directions on the package, and you will have a new TV set up in less than an hours time!

One suggestion from a seasoned swivel bracket to you – make sure you get 2-3 people to help you place the TV up on the brackets for the swivel, this can be quite exhausting especially if you have a big time like I do – it is a 50inch 115lb TV!

If you’ve just purchased a new plasma TV, you might be considering the options you have in mounting it on the wall. Peerless plasma mounts are the best mounts for this job, as they’re made of solid materials and will hold your plasma TV against the wall in a prime location for the best viewing for you and your family.

Before deciding on the plasma TV wall mount bracket for you, you should know what size plasma TV you have. Some wall mounts are designed to hold up to 10″ to 30″ inch screens, while other wall mounts are designed for larger TVs. The most important part of the plasma TV mounts are the wall plates, which should be ultra slim but fit your plasma TV precisely for a good grip which holds your TV firmly against the wall. Peerless plasma wall mounts are best for this kind of fit, as many of them feature one touch tilt, which means you can tilt your wall mounted plasma TV around 15 degrees with it mounted to the wall. In addition, these wall mounts can be installed either in wood or concrete, for the best installation and fit for your TV.

However, the best plasma TV wall mount bracket made by the company is the Peerless Plasma flat Panel Articulating Wall Mount. This is because it’s a very cheap option which will let you mount any TV up to 22″ on your wall. Since it’s flexible, it can hold the TV flat against the wall, or it can stretch out to a maximum of 15″ in depth, which makes it a truly viable option for people who want a TV which is both flexible and mounted on their wall. This style of mount is often best for offices and hotel rooms, as it provides a range of movement you wouldn’t find it larger, home mounted TVs. In addition the range of movement, the Peerless plasma mount also has a 180 degree screen positioning system, which means you’ll always have the best seat in the house, no matter where you are.

When buying the perfect TV wall mount for your plasma TV, you should ensure that it comes with a solid warranty which protects your TV from defects. Buying an off brand wall mount which offers no warranty from defects could mean it anything ever happens to your TV, you’ll be stuck paying the bill.

You have made the big purchase of a Plasma TV and a swivel TV mount will enable you to get the ultimate best viewing in your home. If you are a home do it yourself person, a few tips to get you started in the right direction could be helpful.

Swivel TV mounts can be mounted on your wall, ceiling, or you can purchase a TV stand with the mount included. Types of swivel mounts are low profile, tilting and articulating. The best type for your Plasma TV wall mount should include the articulating feature, which means it can move from left to right.

Many TV stands are now offering the mounting poles for your plasma TV. The TV is attached to the pole with brackets that are included and allow you to turn or swivel the TV to get the best view from wherever you are sitting. Often, the plasma TV itself will include a swivel mount stand to sit directly on top of the TV stand.

Plasma TV wall mount brackets and kits can be purchased to mount your TV. There is a flat wall mount that will allow you to snugly fit the screen to your wall. You may also purchase mounts that will tilt your screen downward. You can also find swivel mounts to be able to adjust the direction of the screen. Ceiling mounts are great for larger spaces as well as for hanging a TV in a corner. The ceiling mount uses a plate that attaches to the ceiling and the TV will be mounted to a pole that will allow it to turn. You can also get the ceiling mount model that encases the TV with straps so it is secure.

You can often find complete wall mounting kits that will fit just about any plasma TV. The TV manufacturers have standardized their construction in order to use universal mounting kits. If by chance your TV does not have this, you can purchase adapter plates to mount the TV. When installing the wall mount, make sure you have the wall studs where the TV will go. Most will also install into concrete. You should make sure you buy the TV mount that is made for the weight of your TV as well as the size.

Swivel TV mounts are a great way to hang your plasma TV. It allows you to be able to turn the TV in both directions so it can be seen wherever you are sitting. You can check some great deals on swivel TV mounts on the internet or at a local store near you.

Nowadays many people are deciding to purchase brackets for plasma TV because of the benefits they will reap from it; namely the lack of space a plasma TV takes up when they mount their TV to a wall.

However, the excitement of purchasing your plasma TV may abate somewhat if you are not entirely sure how to mount your TV to the wall. And yet all is not lost. Thankfully the World Wide Web is a hot spot for accessible information on such issues as this, so you can rest assured that the Internet will provide you with the relevant information that you will need in order to successfully attach your mounting bracket to your plasma TV.

And yet if you do not feel like sorting out the right installation information from the wrong, then read on the following points which will help you with your mounting brackets for your plasma TV.

If you have not already done so, it is important that you investigate the type of mounting brackets that you want. Generally there are four different types: fixed, tilt, motorized, and cantilever. If however you have a small LCD panel, you may want to consider a flip down mount, which is handy for positioning a small TV underneath a kitchen cabinet.

Make sure that you check the online guide or even make it a point to check the weight of what your panel is compared to the supported weight of your bracket you either have or are considering purchasing. All manufacturers generally produce different mount models for different TV weights.

Take the time to check the pattern of your mount for your plasma TV. Generally manufacturers of the flat panel sets will use the VESA standard. If you find however, that your plasma TV does not come with the standard VESA, then you will find that you may need a specialized mount.

Next you will want to attach the frame mount to studs that you will have put into your walls. If you have a set that is 37 inches or more, make sure that the studs used are used as anchors to the frame.

Finally, mount your plasma TV to the frame, making sure that you line up the holes to your set with those of the plate or rail that additionally came with your mount, making sure that you screw them to your plasma TV. Once the rails or the plate are firmly secured, you will then need to hang your plasma TV on the wall bracket or the arm of the cantilever.

The brackets for plasma TV are an ideal way to secure your TV to you wall, while also providing ample room that may have been taken up had you not bought the brackets along with your plasma TV. Not only that, but mounting brackets also provide extra viewing room if you happen to be at the other end of the room. This way you can still watch the TV where you are, without any discomfort involved in your attempt.
